While we understand that power in the marketplace has moved pretty decisively from seller to buyer, Alliance 361° members have been around long enough not to be blinded by the shimmer of this week’s latest shiny social media application. For us it’s more about determining if and how that application can support client business strategy and how it fits with the other tools available.


Thinking beyond…to get the job done.

We find it singularly unrewarding to have a “Final Report” gathering dust on a client’s shelf, so we treat our reports as anything but final. We want to have a stake in making our recommendations work. So here’s what we do:

  1. 1. First, we apply the learning of our senior partners to every assignment via twice-monthly partner sessions where each project is reviewed to make sure we’re doing what we said we would. If the project calls for specialized expertise to supplement our own, we’ll bring it in.
  2. 2. As added value, each of us has agreed to allocate a portion of our fees (usually about 10%) to coaching and mentoring with client people to assist implementation and make sure it’s effective.
